Point Bonita Lighthouse

Information from Pacific Coast Lighthouses publication:

Point Bonita: San Francisco 1855-1877
Built on a ledge 300-feet above sea level.  It's 56-foot high tower and 2nd order Fresnel lens points the way to the Golden Gate and bay while warning the mariners to stay away from the deadly rocks.

July 2009
There's a small hike and through the huge rock to get to this lighthouse.  Going across the bridge is a little scary but well worth seeing and doing.
