Santa Cruz Lighthouse Surfer's Museum

Information taken from Pacific Coast Lighthouse Publication:

Santa Cruz Lighthouse - 1869 & 1969
Built in 1869 to aid ships of lumber and lime in and out of the harbor. In 1948 the wood and brick lighthouse was torn down.  In 1969 a brick replica was built and is home to the Santa Cruz Surfing Museum.

February 2005
This is a great place to hang out and watch the surfers.  These photos were taken in 2005 but we live close to Santa Cruz and visit often.
